Discord bot

Your members already play. Make it count for the server.

TradeRange is the daily stock puzzles and paper-trading games people come back for. The bot puts your Discord on that map, turns their scores into a community total, and keeps the channel busy without you posting.

Competition

Servers are already racing each other.

Every finished game from a member who set you as home adds to this table. That is the whole pitch, if you only remember one thing: other Discords are on the board, and yours is not, until the bot is in.

Why owners add it

Three things the bot does that a pinned link does not.

You can already drop traderange.net in chat. The bot is for the owners who want the room to compete as a room, and to keep showing up without a moderator on duty.

01

A public listing people can join from

Your card sits on the TradeRange server directory. Members, points, a join button. Hide the invite if you want to stay listed without the open door.

02

A scoreboard with your Discord on it

Players pick a home server. Their points follow that community onto the server leaderboard, and their name on the player board carries your chip.

03

A feed you do not have to write

Daily puzzle drop, win celebrations, end-of-day digest. /settings pauses any of it. Kick the bot and the listing goes with it; pause the feed and the bot stays.

In the channel

The room gets louder on its own.

Set a feed channel once. After that the bot has somewhere to talk, and you do not have to remember the daily reset.

  • Morning: the new puzzles are live, with a play link.
  • During the day: a short celebration when someone on the server wins.
  • Night: a digest of the board, so lurkers still see who showed up.
  • Optional DMs to people who missed a day. That one is easy to switch off.
Slash commands

What members can type once it is in.

Everything below respects /settings. Turn Games off and the game commands go quiet. Turn TradeChart off and /tc stops. The bot does not argue.

CommandWhat it does
General
/helpEvery command, grouped, plus which features are on in this server.
/leaderboardTop players, or filter to one game. Same idea as the site board.
/playA direct link to a game. Works in DMs too.
/statsYour points, or someone else's, with a per-game split.
/serversBrowse public TradeRange communities. Hidden servers stay off this list.
/matchStart a multiplayer room and post a join link. The link lasts 15 minutes. Guild only.
Charts /tc
/tc chartA price chart for a ticker, a named group (mag7), or a comma list. 15s cooldown.
/tc compareSide-by-side performance, up to 8 tickers. 20s cooldown.
/tc heatmapA sector or group, colour-coded by gain or loss. 25s cooldown.
Portfolio
/portfolio listYour linked books. Private reply, so it is safe in a public channel.
/portfolio summaryAllocation for one book. Cash amounts stay hidden.
Server admins
/setchannelPick the feed channel, or clear it to stop announcements. Admin, guild only.
/settingsThe control panel: TradeChart, Games, MyPortfolio, feed pause, hide from the directory.
Ready

Walk through it, or skip straight to Discord.

The short tour is six screens. The invite is one click after that. Same invite if you skip.
